In this post I will answer some frequently asked questions and update our progress.
The truth is, she didn't feel confident about her works thus fell into a block. The second reason is she was busy with real life and other projects. From my view she hadn't posted any updates on her parts. I thought she either lost interest or was too busy. To not keep my hopes too high, had her to leave this project. Yes, I might be a cruel person I'm serious about this. The deadlines were clear, if they aren't reached there will be consequences. In real life someone could get fired.
The past months I have been too soft on my crew, thus we have been working slow. In my previous updates I have shown some soudtrack progress of Wytesong. Well, none of these soundtracks got completed so far. He fell into block when Nyanfood was no longer here and I assigned the trailer to him. The only moments he worked on the music is when I chatted with him, which I did not do often. I thought it's better to give him time and space to work. I discovered this later when wondered why the progress is so slow... When I this pointed out, he didn't deny lol.
About the story reviewing part, I decided to correct the grammar mistakes myself and having one person to review later. I keep this part as last when doing the programming. I don't know if my current reviewer is still interested as she seems to be busy with real life.
Now I have talked so much about others, I must admit that I got a few downsides as well. While everyone got blocked, it influenced me too. Rather than working, I've been worrying about how others were doing. Depressing questions struck my mind: "Are people not interested to work with me? Is this project not good enough? Should I move forward alone?" Because of this, I'm behind on the CG artworks. In the end I did talk to everyone personally so we are on the right track now.
To future people who might be working with me, now you've read this, I'm a strict person. Only recent I realized that, to direct a project, you have to keep in touch with your crew. Followed by consequences if deadlines or quality are not met. Sorry for this huge rant but since this section is a blog, I should share my thoughts and experiences of this project. It may serve as sample of difficulties people face ahead of future projects.

Will the trailer be with or without vocal?
Now Nyanfood is back with us, I let her to decide if the trailer should be with or without vocal.
After all, she will be the one writing the lyrics and singing it. As a bonus, she is working on the ending song too.
Will the game be voiced?
In the first release, no. I'm planning to make a kickstarter and depending on the amount funds,
the game will be voiced in Japanese. I think Japanese fits better than English to the style. Luckily I got a lot male friends so it wouldn't be hard to find voice actors.
Why are you guys so slow?
Because many of us are busy with real life and dealing with artblocks. However, we are doing our best as we can. For a large project like this, (220,000+ words story count) it goes pretty fast. I have been working solo since february 2014 and recruited 3 composers the last few months till now.
So I was curious about the popularity among the main characters... Here are the current results:
I am last... What do the others have that I don't?
Don't worry, your cuteness is unique and different than the other guys.
If I got more unique traits, would it work?
Maybe, it's all about being outstanding.
- Cries -
It's okay to cry. Hope your manly tears will bring you to first place next time.
Thank you for reading and supporting us! I try to update as frequently as I can. Despite my rant at the first block of this post, we are doing great. Both Wytesong and Nyanfood are working on the soundtracks while I'm busy with the CG art. Depending on Nyanfood, I hope to post the trailer in next update.
